nitR_L117F

This protein is expected to bind to valerolactam. It is modified by our team by mutating the 117th residue leucine to phenylalanine. We have modified the protein as it was reported that highly sensitive nitR-L117F can be used for the ε-caprolactam biosynthesis pathway. This protein is found present in Alcaligenes faecalis. [1]
